After a journey through dungeon crawling and narrative adventures, Minecraft is getting another unexpected spin-off - this time becoming an action strategy game. The game will launch in 2023.
The game was revealed at today's Xbox-Bethesda show, Minecraft Legends is an action-oriented game that blends real-time strategies with the world of Minecraft.
A short gameplay video shows an individual riding a horse and leading an army of minions into battle. The character can also command the legion live in real time.
Minecraft is an online game that has been voted to be the most played game in the world. Its success has led to a variety of spin-offs, like Telltale's Minecraft Story Mode, a story-driven adventure featuring Patton Oswalt, and Minecraft Dungeons. We stated that Minecraft Dungeons was an dungeon-crawler that was akin to Diablo and it's just so charming and enjoyable that it's difficult not to appreciate it for taking the safer route.
